Childhood innocence robbed by adults' lack of common sense.
The powers that be apologise for their "mistakes."
While governments let those responsible get off scot free.
Have our children always been expendable?
Children used to clear landmines.
Children used in workhouses.
Children used in factories.
Children born into slavery.
We question
How do they get recruited into gangs and armies at such a tender age?
When children die we become enraged.
We ask
When will things change?
Can we leave our children a world of prosperity and peace for all?
Can we start finding ways to catch them when they fall?
Can we stop seeing them as "irresistible targets?"
Can we give them a chance to:
grow up
grow old
Or Simply to live?
